This collection presents twelve classic comic book stories by Carl Barks, the creator of Donald Duck’s uncle Scrooge McDuck, along with an ‘introducktion’ and notes by Barks; the comic pages are reprinted at 7.5′ × 11′ from the original artwork and recolored by Peter Ledger. This first trade paperback edition was published by Celestial Arts of Berkeley in 1987, corresponding with the fortieth anniversary of the first comic story to feature Uncle Scrooge.
