Antique Ford China Co. Wash Basin and Pitcher
Item Details
An antique Ford China Co. wash basin and pitcher. The pitcher features a scalloped edge with an embossed scrolling foliate design around the edge and a scrolling handle that connects midway down the tapered body of the pitcher. On the sides of the pitcher is a painted floral design in shades of pink, blue, and green. The wash basin features a similar painted floral design evenly spaced around the inner edge and is round in shape with a slightly scalloped edge. The base of each item is stamped with the Ford China Co. mark in blue.
Condition
- small nicks and imperfections to glaze throughout; scuffs and scratches throughout; two large chips to base of pitcher; hairline crack at base of pitcher; heavy wear to base of items; discoloration and fading to design.
