A small collection of hand-colored engravings after original portraits and scenes. Featured are three individual prints. Included are an unmarked engraving of a young girl, an engraving depicting a young woman titled St. Valentine’s Day after W.P. Frith, and a hand-colored etching after H. Dicksee’s In Sight At Last, depicting a young woman in view of the ocean. Each print is presented on heavy rag paper with an embossed plate marking.
Condition
- smudges visible on prints; pencil inscription to lower right margin; edge wear and tear; some discoloration and text fading; slight warping to paper edges; some creasing; edge discoloration; light foxing.
