Bronze Four-Arm Kannon Sculpture

A bronze sculpture of the bodhisattva Kannon (Avalokiteshvara). This gold tone sculpture depicts the four-handed bodhisattva of compassion sitting cross-legged, with the soles of both feet turned upward, one set of hands almost meeting in front of her chest and the other set out to her sides with the inner two fingers bent. Her eyes are closed and she wears a flowing gown, jewelry, and a crown. She is raised on a lotus accented base, in front of a pierced scrolling medallion with center lotus.
