Wooden Sculpture of Jaguar and Cub

A wooden sculpture of a jaguar and cub. This carved sculpture depicts the aforementioned animal pouncing on a smaller cub in a playful fashion. They are both rendered in a stylized manner, and are painted in a polished black pigment with gold accents to the teeth and claws. Areas of the ribcage and eyebrows are slightly carved to evidence texture.

Condition

- claw pieces are missing; cracks in wood.
