Late 19th Century Torison Balance Scale

Item Details

An antique balance scale by The Torison Balance Company of New York, Style 6000, No. 69284, made of brass and cast iron with ‘Torrison Balance’ cast into the base. Includes a brass pan made in two pieces. An applied metal tag to the front indicates the scale was made in 1891.

Condition

- fair, cast iron areas show some rust, needs some restoration and adjustment to work.
