A signed limited edition color serigraph on paper by Cincinnati artist and inventor Tom Lohre, titled Tailgate Party Wellington. The print depicts a brightly colored scene where several figures lounge around a row of parked vintage cars as flags wave above them. The print is signed, titled, and numbered 3/35 in pencil to the lower margin; the artist’s first name is signed “Thos,” a nickname short for Thomas that the artist sometimes used earlier in his career. The print is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with cast surface embellishments, glossy black finish, and a hanging wire. Lohre claims to be the first to have ever painted a spaceship from life; he also painted the eruption of Mt. Saint Helens from life.
