An assortment of children’s comic books featuring Classics Illustrated. This assortment features twenty-two books which are presented in paperback covers published in the 1970s and 1980s. The books depict classic works of fiction in a comic book style with illustrated squares with dialogue speech bubbles. Included is MGM’s Lassie, The Dark Frigate, A Study in Scarlet, Rumpelstiltskin and more.

- paper is toning; cracks, tears and bends to pages; spines beginning to detach; heavy wear to covers including ink handwriting.
