Carved Wooden Knot

Item Details

A carved wooden sculpture by an anonymous artist. This hand carved work, formed from a singular piece of wood, depicts a twist thick stem of wood, with visible cracks, discolorations and winding natural woodworm grooves. It has been finished in a semi-sheen polish. There are tacks on the bottom, and no discernible signature could be found.

Condition

- some wear to the finish; areas of worn polishing; natural cracks, scratches, grooves and bore holes are visible.
