A hand painted pin dish. This piece depicts a tavern scene featuring a woman cutting food with a dog inspecting her work, surrounded by four men. The standing figure to the right has a green hat with matching jacket and an axe under his left arm, and he looking down at the woman while smoking. The dish is not signed.
Condition
Consistent with age. Underside has some surface stains.
