A Pahlavi Era Isfahan accent rug. The piece is in a pinnacle weaving style and features a central field filled with depictions of deer, cranes, small blue birds, rodents, and florals in a palette of cream, green, white and navy that sit on top of a deep blue field. The field is enclosed within a compound resolved border that features depictions of even more birds, animals, and flowers in a palette of yellow, cream, and powder blue with a cream fringe to either end. The piece is tagged to the reverse.
