Art Deco Birdseye Maple Wardrobe by Majority Furniture
Item Details
An Art Deco wardrobe by Majority Furniture, circa 1930. This beautifully preserved piece has an allover birdseye maple veneer on the doors and sides, trimmed in a darker veneer on the edges and along the top. Its double doors have ornately decorated metal knob handles on side-oriented teardrop plates, and a celluliod lock plate on the right door. Inside, the left side has a top shelf and hanging rack, while the right side has an open top shelf, two cubbies with view windows and flip down doors, two drawers, and three open cubbies, all stacked on top of one another. The left door has a hanging rack and the right door has a square mirror with a small vanity tray.
