Item Details
A lovingly rendered original watercolor on cold press paper, a modern take on the classic Parisian street scene, depicting a scene, seemingly from a vantage point on the Seine, looking downstream with the imposing Notre Dame Cathedral on the right, sparse trees, in autumnal glory in the fore. The piece is strongly gestural, quickly rendered. Signed ‘F. Claude’ in the lower right, the piece is handsomely presented in a mahogany finish wooden molding frame with white matting. Appears to have been very recently framed.
Condition
The piece is slightly yellowed, otherwise fine overall.
