A gouache and watercolor painting on paper by J. Polmes. This piece depicts three hens laying eggs rendered within vibrant colors and gestural brushstrokes. This work is double signed by the artist to the lower right corner. Presented behind glass, beneath burlap matting with an interior wooden fillet, housed in a carved wood frame with a golden tone finish and green embellishments.
