Copy of "Old Woman Reading" After Gerard Dou

A copied masterpiece portrait after a 1630 painting titled Old Woman Reading (A Bible) by Gerard (Gerrit) Dou. This original oil painting on canvas depicts a woman dressed in a black robe with fur trim. Her graying hair is neatly swept up and her features are finely detailed. The background is dark brown and the painting is unsigned. The original Dou painting is larger and is displayed at the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
Condition
hole near center, wear to paint around edges, loss of paint throughout.
