A hand-knotted Kerman lamb’s wool area rug. The rug features an elongated floral medallion in shades of dark blue, peach, and gold inside an emerald green scalloped hexagonal field ornamented with small boteh and floral designs along the edges, The light blue and peach spandrels blend with the peach and dark blue main border into an ornate design of scrolls, arches, floral and boteh details. The rug is finished with a green side cord on the longer edges and white fringe on the shorter ends. An identification tag is affixed to the back side; made in Iran.
