After John Nott Sartorius Hunting Scene Textured Offset Lithograph

A framed, textured offset lithograph of a fox hunting scene after John Nott Sartorius (British, 1755–1828). Sartorius was a well-listed painter of equestrian hunting scenes. This piece depicts a horse and rider in traditional fox-hunting gear leaping over a fence, preceded by hounds. ‘J. N. Sartorius’ is signed in the print to the lower left. The print is coated in a textured glaze reminiscent of crazing on antique paintings. It is set within a black and gold-toned wood frame with a wire to the verso for hanging.
