Weighted Sterling Salt and Pepper Shakers With Bird Figures
Item Details
A pair of weighted sterling salt and pepper shakers with bird figures. There are six shakers in this lot with three pairs. One pair feature pierced holes to the sides with tapered and rounded bodies along with skirted bases; they have gadroon trim and are marked, ‘Empire Sterling Weighted 246.’ The bird shakers feature perforated heads with fluted feather details and hammered-style bodies; they feature indiscernible maker’s marks. The third pair feature fluted and tiered tops with perforations to the sides with skirted bodies and rounded bases; the undersides are marked, ‘Sterling Weighted Duchin Creation.’
Condition
- minor tarnishing throughout; scratches throughout.
