A bronze sculpture by American artist and Holocaust survivor Alfred Tibor (1920-2017) titled Mothers Kiss. This elegant modern sculpture features a depiction of a female figure holding a child in her arms and is presented on a wood base. Signed and dated ’89 to the lower edge of the sculpture.

Originally from Hungary, Alfred Tibor came to the United States in 1957 and settled in Columbus, Ohio sixteen years later, when he became a full-time sculptor. He was a prolific artist most known for his bronze sculptures commemorating the Holocaust.
