A Boehm limited edition bisque porcelain Whooping Crane figurine. Featured is a large delicate naturalistic hand painted porcelain bird depicted just as it is landing, numbered 111. Signed by Helen Boehm and maker’s mark to the underside. Boehm Porcelain was started by Edward Marshall Boehm and his spouse, Mrs. Helen F. Boehm. Boehm was an American sculptor most known for his fine and elegant porcelain birds and wildlife sculptures.
