Kai Nielsen "Merman Riding Dolphin" Porcelain Figure

A porcelain figure designed by listed sculptor Kai Nielsen (1882 – 1924) and manufactured by Bing and Grøndahl of Copenhagen. This blanc de chine piece depicts a nude man with a child riding on his shoulders, the man astride a dolphin. The piece is marked ‘B&G Kjøbenhavn Danmark’ on the underside.
