Antique Chinese Trunk

Item Details

An antique Chinese trunk. The simple block body is stained dark brown, with decorative metal straps on the front and metal loop handles on the sides. The edges have visible block joint work, and the lid, located on the top half of the front, folds down via hinges and is held shut with a latch and pin lock. The inside has an open storage area. On the front, the straps are textured in geometric patterns, some straps with loop handles attached. It has a red wax import stamp to the back.
