N. Backstrom Original Oil on Canvas Seascape

Item Details

A vintage oil painting on board, by N. Backstrom. Depicted are two sailboats, one with raised sails, docked next to a large boat house. A seawall and grass are visible on the shore in the foreground. The painting is signed to lower left by the artist, and framed in a brown wood frame. Affixed to verso is an offset lithograph of a courtyard scene, used as backing paper.

Condition

There is some staining to the verso of the canvas board, and some wear to the frame, including a nail through one side of the frame.
