Stoneware Pottery Featuring Burley Winter
Item Details
A selection of stoneware pottery. This group includes one pitcher and one jug. These pieces feature tan bodies with dark brown glazed tops and spouts. The jug is stamped with a blue number two enclosed in a blue heart. This mark is from the Burley Winter Pottery Company, which was in business until the mid 1930s.
Condition
- some chips to the bases; crazing to bodies; minor stains and dirt residue; wear to undersides.
