A hand knotted and sculpted Persian Sarouk area rug. The tree of life themed rug has an ivory colored niche field with a dense spray of flowers in wine red, blush, carmine red, and powder blue. The niche is bound by two coral colored spandrels. A principal border displays a lobed flower and cloud motif over a carmine red ground. The wool pile rug is finished with a single overcast edge and cropped fringe to either end. Unmarked.
