A hand-knotted Chinese floral carved carpet runner. The rug has a bold scarlet field with a peach, pomegranate, and floral medallion at center. The border features large arrangements of flowers that break onto the field. The rug is crafted with a wool pile, overcast edges and knotted cotton fringe. It has been carved along the design elements for a dimensional appearance. Unmarked.
