Item Details

A brass-bound campaign chest dating to the mid 19th century. The piece features two small drawers over three wide drawers of graduated heights, and flush mounted brass hardware. The finish treatment enhances the lovely variations in the wood grain of the face of the drawers. The back of the dresser is covered in newspaper pages dating the the Civil War era. A key is no longer present with this piece.
