An original 1980s 35mm color slide of Penthouse model Pia Zadora. The circa 1983 image, taken by Penthouse photographer and publisher Bob Guccione, shows the actress and model posing nude in a stars-and-stripes scarf. The image originates from a photo shoot later to be featured as a pictorial in Penthouse Magazine. Actress and singer Pia Zadora began her career on Broadway and in the cult film Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. She would go on to appear in feature films such as Butterfly, John Waters’ Hairspray, Naked Gun 33 1/3 and more, even winning a Golden Globe in 1982. The item included in this lot comes from The Guccione Collection, sold exclusively through EBTH by digital media company Jerrick. The item originates from the personal archives of Bob Guccione; media mogul, artist, and founder of Penthouse Magazine.
