Contemporary Louis XIII Style Armchairs
Item Details
A pair of matching Louis XIII style armchairs. They have walnut stained wooden frames with sloped arms and wide twist to the tapered armrest stiles and legs; the aprons and backs are accented by a serpentine pattern of carved leaves. The backs are inlaid with a tapestry style upholstery with a center palmette surrounded by acanthus leaves and vining, in warm neutral colors. The wide, padded seats have a mottled brown upholstery with leather texture and accent stitching in the center.
