Hand Knotted Caucasian Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand knotted Caucasian accent rug. The rug displays a scarlet crenelated lozenge with patterned concentric rings and and twelve-point medallion. The medallion rests on a deep indigo, lozenge shaped field with highly decorated scarlet colored spandrels. A series of borders including a lobed flower and boteh border, a running water border, and a repeating gul principle border. The piece is finished with single overcast edges and wool warp fringe. Unmarked.
