Signed Erté Offset Lithograph "Alphabet Series" Poster

Item Details

An offset lithograph poster featuring the Alphabet Series by very well-listed Russian-French designer Romain de Tirtoff, more commonly known as Erté (1892 – 1900). The poster has small prints of each of the stylized letters of the alphabet designed by the. It was published by Circle Gallery, Ltd. in 1977. The poster is signed by Erté and personalized to read ‘To Phyllis and Frank with kind regards’ in faint graphite to the lower right. The poster is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with black and cream finishes and a hanging wire.
