An original acrylic painting on unstretched canvas by Cincinnati artist Robbie Kemper (born 1957) titled Opposing Black and Blue. The painting features a busy composition made of aggressive strokes of black, blue, red, yellow, and white paint. The painting is signed to lower left and is titled to the verso. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
