19th Century "The Pet" Toy Cast Iron Stove

Item Details

**An urn-shaped cast iron toy parlor stove with finial to the top, nicely embossed design, a side-opening door to insert wood, a rounded hearth to the front. The toy stove sits on four feet and has a chimney hole to the front. The stove cast marked ‘The Pet’ and ’Pat’d 1857’ to the top. It is also cast marked ‘Adams, Peckover and Co.’ to the hearth. Circa 1860.
