A Homer Laughlin ‘Tom and Jerry’ punch bowl and mugs. The cream colored bowls and mugs have gold bands on the lips and Tom and Jerry written across the body in gold Gothic style font. ‘Tom and Jerry’ is one of the earliest cocktails, served around Christmas time the drink was invented by British journalist Pierce Eagon in 1820. The drink is a combination of eggs, powdered sugar, rum and brandy and is served warm. The set includes a large bowl with eight coordinating mugs.
