Item Details
A varnished oil painting on canvas titled Rotterdam, Holland Harbor by artist Cleo Verdonk, dated 1940. This piece depicts a harbor scene with large industrial ships navigating on agitated waters surrounded by flying seagulls within misty skies in the background. The work is signed and dated by the artist to the lower right corner. Presented without glass, in a simple wood frame with a golden tone finish. The artist’s name, date and title are inscribed to the lower stretcher on the canvas verso.

- minor discoloration to painting; minor scratches and dents to frame; warping and loss of tension on canvas.
