Collection of Antique Crates
Item Details
A collection of vintage to antique, wooden distribution crates. Two of the three crates are handled with iron strap reinforcements on the sides, and were used for Crown & Cork Seal packaging company and Graf’s Premium Fine Beverages. Graf’s produced and sold a root beer flavored beverage in the 1800’s and the Crown & Cork Seal Company began when its founder invented the bottle cap, or a ‘crown cork’ as it was originally called. The third crate is painted red and was used for Hire’s 12 oz. root beer bottles.
