A Chinese Chippendale style apothecary cabinet. This black laquered wooden piece has a rectangular block body on a scalloped apron and block legs with block feet. The top storage portion has sliding doors with openwork design, with an open storage space inside. The cabinet doors have an open diamond lattice design and gold tone hardware; they open to a grid of 40 small drawers with ring pulls in the center.
