Chinese Gouache on Silk Paintings of Birds
Item Details
A pair of Chinese hand-painted gouaches on silk of birds. This pair includes two watercolor and gouache paintings presented on beige silk then mounted to brocade silk. One depicts a flowering magnolia tree perched among its branches signed ‘Yunyang’ (云洋) and the second features a blooming rose with a small blue songbird sitting on its branches, signed ‘Tianyun’ (天云). The pieces are presented under glass with a gold tone wooden frame, with hanging brackets and a label featured on their verso. The label reads ‘Original Artwork From the People’s Republic of China’ and includes information about the imported artwork.
