Reproduction Bronze After PJ Mene "Stallion"

A reproduction bronze after Pierre-Jules Mene (1810 – 1879), titled Stallion. This bronze depicts a stallion with raised features and black mane and tail on a black rough textured oval stand with brass title plaque. The sculpture includes a signature in mold to the base. The work is presented on an oval marble base with a gold tone informational plaque.

Similar sculptures by the same artist are found in lots 17LOU067-030 and 17LOU067-028.

Condition

- large scratches to patina; dust present.
