Fred Slocombe Hand-colored Engraving "Kennett near Chilton Foliat"
Item Details
A hand-colored engraving on heavy paper by Fred Slocombe (1847-c.1920) titled The Kennett near Chilton Foliat, dated 1884. This piece depicts a pond surrounded by a fenced lined landscape filled with trees and is signed in plate to the lower right corner. The title of the piece is present below the main image. The print was distributed in London by Robert Dunthorne at ‘the Rembrandt Head’. Work is presented unframed.

- to fair; pencil markings to the front lower right corner; page yellowing; edgewear; some color fading.
