Hand-Knotted Persian Style Accent Rug and Tapestry

A hand-knotted Persian style accent rug and tapestry. The rug features a central medallion in a palette of red, green, brown and taupe that sits on top of a deep red field. The field is enclosed by a spandrel at each corner that showcases floral patterns with a floral themed primary border. The rug offers a short, cream fringe to either end and is not marked. Also included is a tapestry piece that offers images of florals and fruit in a palette of taupe, cream, green and blue with a tassel to the end. It hangs from a gold tone bar with a gold tone chain. Unmarked.
