A pair of signed limited edition Modern Expressionist monotypes by Enrico Embroli (born 1945) One of the artworks depicts a grey tone figure standing on a pink, purple and brown tone structure, against a black background. ‘Monotype 33/120’, ‘Poteru X’ or similar, and the signature in white pencil is written from left to right across the top. The second artwork depicts a multi-color bird like figure with wings spread, and a vertical object extending to the bottom of the image, against a black background. ‘Monotype 33/120’, ‘Series V’ or similar, and the signature in white pencil is written from left to right across the bottom of the image. Both pieces are presented with grey and white mats in black frames. Both are wired for hanging.
Enrico Embroli is an abstract expressionist who employs strategies of painting and sculpture in his works. Each piece is meant to tell a story and invite the viewer into his imagination to explore various emotions. He has exhibited in over fifty galleries in the United States and internationally.
