An unsigned hand-pulled color lithograph designed by well-listed and renowned Russian-born French artist Marc Chagall (New York/ France/Russian Federation, 1887 – 1985), titled The Ladder, created in 1957 for Jacques Lassaigne’s publication Chagall (Maeght Editeur). This lithograph is one of 6000 impressions. The image depicts a profile view of a woman’s face tinted blue, with a bouquet of flowers in the background and a ladder in the center. This print is mounted behind black mat, under acrylic glass in a wood frame with cast scrolled molding and a gilt finish. Additional information about the print is attached to the verso.
