Early to Mid 20th Century Sefer Torah Scroll
A well-rendered early to mid 20th century Sefer Torah scroll, the piece hand-rendered upon goat-skin parchment. The work, complete with turned wooden handles and an embroidered velveteen cover, was the project of a skilled scribe, per the seller, a commission for an Austin, Texas synagogue.
Some wear, expected with age and use; a few repairs noted to the parchment in spots, some fraying to cording of the cover.
