Antique 1860s Victorian Walnut Burl Davenport Desk

Item Details

An antique 1860s walnut burl davenport desk. The desk is designed with a short back apron compartment with lock, beveled lift up top with leather insert and curvilinear apron with lock. The top opens to light wood drawers to the interior. The desk has a trimmed burl walnut front, faux drawers to the left side and four drawers to the right, each with escutcheon locks and round turned knobs. The desk carved serpentine legs with claw feet to the front, the legs placed upon projecting bases with round turned feet and white porcelain casters.
