Antique British Ironstone Tureen and Covered Vegetable
Item Details
A group of two antique British ironstone tureen and a covered vegetable. These were both sent to Haviland Limoges in France to be decorated and hand embellished. They have flowers and vegetable illustrations; the smaller piece even has a turtle on the outside of the bowl. The British Registry marks are imprinted in the clay under the glaze on the undersides, but are not completely legible. They are marked ‘Haviland Limoges’ to the inside of the lids and the undersides.
