An original mid-century oil landscape on board by listed American artist George William Dinckel (1891-1976). The piece, titled Autumn Landscape, Conway, depicts a sunny fall day in Conway, Massachusetts with trees full of changing leaves. A split rail fence winds along a lazy country road to the foreground as a purple mountain rises in the background to meet a pale blue sky. The piece is signed in black paint to the lower left and is presented without glass in a cream and gold-tone wooden frame with wire to the back for hanging.
