Item Details
A signed hand colored aquatint etching by Polish printmaker, Krystina Smieckowska (b.1935) titled La Petit Itallienne. This abstract print shows a seated female figure in profile. The basic image and background are printed in a light brown then the figure is printed over this in a rust color. This piece has been pencil signed by the artist in the lower right margin numbered 8/50 in the lower left and titled in the center. The print has a single white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.
Condition
minor scrapes to the frame and plexiglass. 7" crack in the plexiglass over the image.
