A Victorian rosewood parlor chair in the style of John Jelliff (Norwalk, Conn. 1813-1901) having a deeply carved foliate crest with a portrait mask at the center cartouche. The chair has an oval padded back and round seat carved at the apron with a burgundy velvet upholstery and nail head trim. The front legs end in castors.

Condition

Slight wear to the fabric and one leg has been broken and shaved down considerably.
