Two Faux Tortoise Powder Boxes

Item Details

A group of two early 20th century round powder boxes with faux tortoise. One has a crystal base in a paneled design and a faux tortoise lid with ‘REN’ monogram inlaid in gold letters. The second style is all made of faux tortoise and has an inlaid ‘IE’ monogram within a diamond shape to the lid.

Condition

Lid to crystal base has a crack across the lid. All faux tortoise box has crack around the bottom of the base. Powder residue inside one.
